Narrative
An approaching cold front triggered severe thunderstorms across Southeast New York, from the Lower Hudson Valley to Long Island. Trees were reported down near the intersection of Bethel Avenue and Amboy Road. Two trees were reported down on Brookhaven Avenue near St. Johns Hospital in Far Rockaway.
